Ok, thanks for the 'chroot' advice, but despite being
a linux user for a few years now, I still know very
little about linux and how to use it properly, so
after doing a search for info on that, it really
seemed to me a too complex solution for a 'simple'
problem (read as 'I had no clue what I was supposed to
do') ;)
I had been able to use blender without problems before
after all, so instead I tried to find out what had
changed and tried to fix it. I also commited it as
well:

I hope that was ok, but it 'should' not affect
anything else...
