[Bf-committers] GE: realtime surgery simulator

Hi all
This email is with regards to the Game Engine:
I'm working on a virtual surgery simulator and I need software that is able to "cut" or interact with the surrounding environment. I tried creating an interactive area using small objects and deleting them when they were "cut" but this is a very crude solution and the graphics isn't adequit for the application. I know software with my needs has been developed before, but blender doesn't have this functionality yet. At this point in time I'm not exactly sure how this functionality would be achieved  (realtime vertex manipulation?), but I'm still considering coding it myself. I would really appreciate any comments.
