[Bf-committers] Newbie question about patches

Newbie question -

I am curious how patches in the tracker are handled,
particularly, how do they get promoted to CVS?

For example, the trivial patch I submitted for VC8 at

https://projects.blender.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3686&group_id=9&atid=127

Are there further actions that need to be taken before
it can be added to CVS? (Such as a particular email
needs to be sent to a particular list or something?)

Does someone troll through patches periodically and
assign them to someone? 

If someone puts it into the CVS or rejects it, will
the patch be marked in some way to indicate an
action/decision has occurred?
