[Bf-committers] Notes and thoughts on the transform work - Updated

Hi, I've written an update to this, based on the changes over the last 
weeks. Comments etc. welcome as usual. I've also committed some changes 
to the manipulator drawing code based on this to tuhopuu, so please 
test.
