[Bf-committers] drawing architecture notes

Hi Daniel - initially this looks great... I've been trying to get my head
around the drawing architecture for a couple of weeks now (trying to remove
front-buffer drawing in order to speed my Radeon) - I'll have a look in
greater detail later.
If there is going to be a re-write of this, then I'd like to get involved in
some way :)
