Hi Matt and Chris,
We can define a default behavior, it's ok to update the scripts (asking their
authors about it first, of course) to follow it. Export selected is ok.
Also keep in mind for now that scripts will need some time to get well
integrated and tested. There are things yet to define, some of the scripts are
old and don't use bpython features they should, like popups, etc.
The ac3d exporter, for example, got the choice just as a way to show submenus to
script authors, it's not something meant to stay always that way.
In the meantime, remember we have tooltips to tell what will be exported:
selected, active, etc.
