Hi everybody --

It's been a while, but I'm still here. Now that my school year is =
coming to a close (and now that I have an algorithms and data structures =
class under my belt) I will have a lot more time to develop features =
that I envision for Blender. Among those are a new mesh data type and =
Catmull-Clark surfaces with creases. I already have working crease =
code, but I will have to add a new data type in order to make it work.

Ton informed me a while back that he might be able to provide =
information on creating a new data type in Blender. Seeing as others =
have already done so, it would be rather pointless for me to try and =
figure out how to do so myself without asking for help from people who =
know how that system works. If anyone has any time to write up some =
rudimentary documentation on how to do so (no, I'm not looking for =
Doxygen function and file documentation), I would greatly appreciate =
your effort. Any takers?

Matt
