[Bf-docboard] Visual Improvements to the Manual

Hi Greg, all,

I also like the changes you propose, but I agree with Gaia that we should
keep the line length shorter.  (Good link, Gaia!)  The only time shorter
text length bothers me is when I'm reading code samples that line wrap too
much, otherwise, I find a shorter column to be nice because I can have my
reference doc up on the left side of my monitor, and use the application on
the right.
