Hey,

-git: you do not need the command line, you can use an interface for it
(for git, not github). Some mac user can point you to one.

@francesco - maybe we need instructions for this? or at least link to the
wiki page for developers:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:Doc/Tools/Git
with a checklist ( 1-have your name and email correct and phab account,
2-pull with rebase option).

follow the instructions on the page

do you have your own local version running already?
then why don't you take a look at your areas of interest... at this time
there are still a lot of migration problems (broken links, wrong title
markups). start with that!
