Fade,
thanks for the test pages.....I will look at them closely later.

Lastly, Cal's mentioned the numbers for the headings, but I've never
seen these on the wiki (using Firefox 17.0.1 on Arch Linux). Does anyone
know what the expected behaviour is for mediawiki?"
FYI for the group,
It appears that the only skin available is Naiad unless logged in.....(am I the
only one who didn't know? LOL)
I've been logged in all the time since I started to work on the wiki, so didn't
realize it till Jared asked which
skin I was using......skin type made no difference......only the fact that I was
logged in or not.
And the numbered headings only appear (for me) when logged in, regardless of
skin type or browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE)........a wiki feature for editing(?),
but
an unnecessary distraction.
So it's a moot point about which skin to offer users unless they want to login,
which isn't necessary to use the wiki, so I doubt many do it.
Do all the editors use Naiad? Seems like it should be the default editing skin
if
it is already the user default.
So I vote for Jared's idea to allow only one skin for the sake of consistancy
(and sanity).
Cal
