Hi Luca, I completely agree that the 2.4x series have to remain ''untouched '' by 2.5 series.
This won't stop us from mainatining the Manual, we have few retouchs to do in 2.4x series,
and part of the manual or uncovered functionalities (Mainly for the BGE) hev to be covered
properly.

In the Next Months I will be finishing the User Manual for the 2.4x Series, I wan't to write some
pages for the 2.5, but until I finish My Job, I won't be comfortable starting one thing and
forgetting other at the middle.

I Like to maintain 2.4x, there are few problems easily solved with few retouches, some pages that
need to split and some others needing a recode.

* Edge and Face Tools, for example, 37 Kib Page that need to be splited in order
to separate Edge Tools and Face Tools ),
* Skinning page, needs a complete revamp, explaining other skinning techs.
* Some Images (screenshots) have to be polished. (Only Blender Internals have to appear...)

About the 2.5 templates, I have to disagree for now, If there is a command change, is better explain
it in the manual itself, I am always talking to Brazilians about the subsurf, in the User Manual (took from 2.32),
it's explained that the subsurf is in the editing context, now its a Modifier.

Let´s put a note !

{{Note|1=Note|2=In earlier Blender Versions, like the one explained in this page (e.g. version 2.32 )
the subsurf was a tool/modifier present in the {{Literal|Editing}} Context {{Shortcut|F9}}, but the
non destructive functionality of the subsurf itself let the programmers consider subsurf as a Modifier,
and then Subsurf has been moved to the Modifiers stack, please, refer to
[[Doc:Manual/Modifiers/Mesh/Subsurf|Subsurf]] in the  Modifiers Stack }}

This will avoid confusion if the user is still using older versions of Blender because of old hardware/OSs.

I think that is the best solution.

Good Vibes friends !

Ivan Paulos Tomé.
Greylica.
