A chapter of its own for the interface could do

remember that the introduction needs anyway to be slim *but* complete for
the newbie.

A newbie should be able to grab blemnder, install it and produce gus in one
evening (or two)
by reading only th introductin, So I won't move the whole interface part to
a new chapter.

YOu can keep in the introduction the minimum (gestures can be dropped,
handlers should be added,
the concepts of scenes and of interface customization are unnecessary in the
introduction)

And make a new Interface chapter

In any case VOlume II (Reference) should describe the interface fully, so
are you sure to want a new chapter in Volume I?

Why not plce it in Volume II?

Good idea. Like I said before, I really think the tutorials need a
little more organisation, but I haven't had the time to do it,
