I think we may be able to automate the process somewhat, but the final 
product will probably still need to be checked manually.

It looks like this can be done via a two-step process. First, we convert 
the WML to HTML. Second, using the html2db tool (see 
http://www.cise.ufl.edu/~ppadala/tidy/) we convert the HTML into DocBook.
