This is a call from the department of Monica Zoppe, a Blender  
conference regular and last year's suzanne nominee for the great  
molecular visualization film. I can fully endorse this initiative as  
reliable and well organized and structured.

What they seek is someone who can do at least good Python scripting,  
but probably also some C work. If you need details, contact them  
though... Blender experience is a big pro. It is for at least several  
months, up to a year is possible.
