The specs are the best documentation, and then there are the example
programs with source code you can check too.

The current Verse support in Blender has been dropped, because it was
quite buggy. Jiri is working on proposals for specification changes,
and also implementing them.

For Blender I'm sure Jiri and I will look into bringing Verse support
back, but better than before - with the work being done now in Blender
2.5 core rewrite, the integration of Verse technology should be easier

Eskil is working on his game Love, which uses Verse as the pipeline.
