Hi Stu!

I think there was such a project, at some time, but as far as I can
remember, I never got any contact information. Anyone else on the list
who knows?

It should be pretty doable, since you can (I guess) use JNI to wrap
the native code, and then design one or more interfaces to capture
Verse's callback-oriented nature.
