Not that I know, no. For efficiency (I guess) it instead uses a
periodic saving scheme, through the -i N option to save a new file
every N seconds.

I have not looked at it in detail, but I guess it wouldn't be too
hard to save out a new file on each change. Kind of expensive
though, but perhaps that is exactly your point, here. :)
