[Verse-dev] Announce: Verse r5p0

Hello.

We have now finalized, frozen, and released the R5 version of the Verse
core.

The download archive is here:

CVS users can use the HEAD revision, it is up to date with the R5 changes.

The list of changes is the same as the one posted earlier this week
(online:<http://www.blender.org/modules/verse/verse-changes-r4-to-r5.txt>),
with one addition:

* Renamed verse_send_node_list() to verse_send_index_subscribe().
   No changes in semantics, this is a simple search-and-replace
   update for client code. New name should better reflect the fact
   that it is a form of subscription, not an immediate action.

Since many clients use verse_send_node_list(), this is a change that
is expected to be required in most clients. It is really simple though,
and could be made by an automatic search-and-replace. Since there is
no command-specific callback for node_list (it results in node_create
and node_destroy), there is no callback to rename.

Please enjoy this new release of Verse, and as always never hesitate
to report any problems.
