the CVS is where you can get it.

if you compile blender you should know how to do this, i use cygwin in 
windows and i beleve its the same for *nix if you have the CVS command

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.blender.org:/cvsroot/verse login

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.blender.org:/cvsroot/verse co 
/(modulename)/

and then
cvs- z3 update -Pd
to up date it
