[Verse-dev] Retrying connections

Eskil,

shouldn't the verse_send_connect() command automatically retry in the client
end?

Now it seems a little... half-baked, with it being asynchronous but without
automatic retries. It's very hard for an application to know how long to
delay between attempts.

Also, it seems things can break if a new attempt is made in the middle of
an old one, I haven't read the code but it feels as if it can get a bit
confused about which stage it is in... Perhaps something to look into?
