i am sorry i haven't been in the office today, i got back only now.
there are three main issues.

1
we shall make an OPEN DESIGN course at the masters training in the BUTE
(budapest university of technology and economics)
the topic is collaborative methods

we shall start with a mindmap exercise on paper
this will pass over to gimp and verse
and finally to some 3d app. and verse
the aim is to investigate collaborative strategies and the methods of common
work

main points:
understanding each other through verse and what are the limits of these
applications in architectural collaboration (mostly conceptual phase of
planning)

the course shall start in February, it ends at the end of the semester,
evaluation shall be made

ideas are welcome

we start the competition next week
Pécs will be the cultural capital of Europe in 2010

the theme is concert hall and conference center with 1000 seats to Pécs
the deadline is: around the 15th of march 2007
we start the work by the study of the site, probably a 3dstudio model
and the study of the architectural program requirements
next if we have a more or less setup architectural concept,
on the second week
you can join in to the actual work, in the concept itself, and the Helsinki
team to the setup of the interior of the building, focusing on the concert
hall itself and the other main spaces: lobby, etc.
we can also start to play with the look of the building (I am sure Eskil
will love it)
this would last two weeks
on the last week we prepare the drawings and the renderings, and we arrange
the presentation sheets

tomorrow I go to an interview to the Hungarian television to a program about
the new trends of computer usage in architectural design
and guess what, I shall present the uni-verse concept. okay only in six (6)
minutes, but still...
there is no time to make a real time presentation, but they asked me to
prepare some "moving image" as background so I thought of showing the movie
made by Paregos
Is it possible?
