[Uni-verse] Re: List of things to bring to the IST event

Dear Gert,

Please, find in the following the list of equipment we are going to
bring there:

- 8 x ( Genelec 1029A loudspeaker + signal cable + power cable + tripod)
- 4 x extension power cable with several plug points
- One dual-boot 64-bit AMD laptop
- 3 x Windows desktop (one for the stand)
- 2 x Linux desktop
- Enough of net cables and power cables for all the computers
- 3 x 17" flat screen
- 2 x CRT screen
- keyboards and mice for the desktops
- 2 x 8-port hub
- 8-channel D/A converter + cables

All the desktops are roughly the same: 1GB memory, 2.8GHz processor,
GeForce FX 5X00 (Ultra) graphics card (AGP).

All the equipment is for the audio room except the one desktop and
it's gadgets for the stand.

I don't know what kind of connection the plasma screen will have. Some
cabels for that are most wellcome :-). At least take the Mac-specific
adapter with you, please!

We just suffered another loss as the computer having Max had a disc
crash :-(. Let us hope we get it fixed during tomorrow. The laptop is our
spare computer and can be used to replace any other computer (except
for the one with multi-channel audio output).
