[Uni-verse] Intel enters 3D format space?

Hello.

I just saw this: <http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/04/21/intel_u3d/>
on the intarweb. A little scant on the details, but might be some-
thing to keep an eye out for. Intel might have the muscle to make a
new format "happen" quickly.

It doesn't say much about the dynamic aspects of the format, so my
guess for (Uni-)Verse is that it'd be something mainly of interest at
import/export stages.
