One possible nice use is for lipsync: load a wavefile of dialogue into the
timeline, place markers at the phonemes, and label them with the appropriate
sound. combined w/ jumping across the markers makes a nice workflow for
lypsyncing.
If python were to be given access to the marker keys, might be a nice start
for an auto-lipsync script.
Just some ideas on possible utility.
