[tuhopuu-devel] Lots of Cygwin/win32-ERRORS lately!

The actual error Sten reported:

I've done some digging (googled it) and the reports are varied.  It would
appear that the latest version of GCC (3.3.1-1) isn't *fully* compatible
with the previous 3.2-3 (this is possibly unfounded, but blame google, not
me!).  Any library made with the older gcc cannot link with programs
compiled with the newer.

There are also references made to the version of mingw installed.

Unfortunately, I've tried and failed to recompile ftgl (requiring a
successful installation of freetype2, which is giving me no end of
headaches!), so I haven't been able to test this theory.  It also begs the
question, "will the other libs give the same errors?"... I guess we'll see!
:)

The alternative is to revert to the older gcc and advise users of this in
the readme, but I'll leave that decision up to the 'Free-Windows'
maintainer!
