Hope you are feeling better soon! You shouldn't stress your system with
patches right now if you are really ill -- just concentrate on
getting better!

Well, any other opinions on this? If this is to
be a viable plan we need to figure out a 'how' and
a 'when'. This will clearly have an impact on
the long term projects of green, nishin, and
cessen (and of course on madprof's new project)
... do you guys have any opinions on this or
any alternative course of action?

Well, I'm not sure that was the main problem there:
I think ton and cessen have different coding
approaches and different goals -- ton probably should
have waited for another release for this stuff so that
he could consult with cessen better. Anyways, I could be
completely off-base about that, but having said it,
certainly the difference in the trees wasn't
beneficial to the chore of porting.
