Summary: improved audio in sequence editor

Initial Comment:
Would it be possible to integrate quicktime into the sequence
editor for sound loading as well as the rendering process? As it is
now, quicktime enables more export options for rendering on
mac os X and windows, as well as limited linux support. If it
could be integrated into the sequence editor, it would be a great
improvement. The current implementation in bf-blender, while a
interesting proof of concept, is severly limited by its ability to use
only .wav files as a imput source. By using quicktime as a
supplement to this, many more types could be used, such as aiff,
mp3, aac, ogg vorbis, etc, etc.
