[tuhopuu-devel] building on suse9

When I run ./configure from the tuhopuu2-build dir, it seems to run fine until
the config.status steps, when I get the following:

configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
config.status: creating extern/Makefile
config.status: error: cannot find input file: extern/Makefile.in

I just checked out tuhopuu2, so nothing's out of date. Does Suse 9 have a
different version of autoconf tools than most? Thanks for any help.
