  Log:
  Loop select. hold the cursor near an edge and press shit-r (in editmode) to select a loop around an object. if there isn't a loop, it will select as many faces as possible. example can be found here: http://home.wanadoo.nl/spruit.haag/code/faceloop2.avi
  
  extensions will be made later (cutting new edges in the loop)
