  Log:
  first attempt at getting aa fonts and l10n working on os x. Some issues
  remain:
  
  * non-ASCII characters don't get displayed correctly
  * dynamic langauge switching doesn't work (you have to set the LANG
  environment variable to the locale of your choice before launching blender
  and open a fileselect window (??) to switch to the desired language)
