I tested my current build of SPE-OSX (0.7.2.d) against the new release
of wxPython (2.5.5) and it launches and runs smoothly. The crashes that
many people were reporting were a result of a bug in wxMac (the
underlying libraries of wxPython on OSX) and that bug has been fixed.
So, go ahead and download the new release of wxPython (wxpython.org) and
~ the current build of SPE-OSX should work fine; I see no point in
packaging up a new version.
