Both, like you. I have emelfm (gtk1) up all day along with mgt (gtk2). I 
haven't noticed any problem with mmb cp/paste with anything else. By now I 
expect (and actually like) the text editor's clipbuffer not to end up like it 
was ever the primary selection to x11 - just clutters up klipper for me.

I do think it's pywx, because RobbinD explained just where he was lost in 
reading the gtk stuff to fix it when he posted it as a bug.
