When it rains it pours...
Good luck sir, we know you can pull it together from your performance on
the sculpting gsoc all those years ago.  You are not the first to fall on
hard times during a gsoc - last year we had an Egyptian student during the
revolution.   As long as you communicate status, people are very
understanding of such life events.
