[Soc-2012-dev] first weekly progress report

[Jorge Rodriguez]

I had finals day before yesterday and I was preoccupied yesterday. Today is
my first day at work, progress should be in earnest this week. I've spoken
with my mentor about this, so it's not unexpected. I have previous Blender
coding experience so I don't anticipate a long startup time.
