[Soc-2011-dev] status of last years gsoc

Was reviewing the gsocs from last year and was really happy with how
things are progressing, of the 15 projects that passed last year we
have 12 of the projects committed to head, 1 project that is partially
committed and remainder is being coordinated with a core dev.  So you
all have a lot to be proud of - congrats.  Will hopefully do a writeup
about the projects prior to the upcomming gsoc.
