Since I'll probably be the one handing out permissions and branches, I'd like if you could also specify a couple of additional things:

* Will you be working from trunk (2.49) or from the 2.5 branch (I assume most of you will work on 2.5, if you don't know, talk to your mentor).
* Would you like to have your branch now (if you plan on starting working in advance or if you already have) or only later (around the official GSOC start date)?

Checkout your branch is pretty much the same procedure as checking out trunk or 2.5 branch, but if you need help, don't be shy and ask away.
