Yup, we saw the commit logs go through the mailing
list.

If you're not registered there already:
http://lists.blender.org/mailman/listinfo/bf-blender-cvs
(yeah, it's still called cvs, but it tracks svn
changes). With that, you get a mail for each commit
(trunk and branches).
