Hi Ton,

This is incorrect information -- the attitude I am getting
on the admin list is that people who need extra time
had better have a gravely serious excuse for this. e.g.,
here is an example from Chris DiBona on the topic, that
was mailed to the admin list this morning:

"Hi All,

Sorry for the delay in replying. I think I replied to the group last
time, but in case I didn't. While I do not want you folks offering
extentions, we will be understanding about sudden illness (ebola,
bubonic plauge, etc...) and family issues (parents/children get Ebola,
Bubonic plauge, etc.)  But lets keep it under strict control.

So please, be prepared to be done on September 1 (take the whole
day to if you need to, deadline is 11:59 PM, on whatever time zone
you prefer).
