ah so you did not use the py in /opt but a system install,

that means that we could actually use a py2.4 linked Blender too .. but that 
is not needed, we use no py for rendering / compositing at the moment, and 
can stick to 2.3 features if will.

so now i just use 2.4 to run the manager (xman.py), cheers!

(btw i did run a find yesterday but without -print or something, it printed .. 
ah i did not run as root so the info was losting permission errors)
