it took me a while to figure it was not installed for the default 2.3 py but 
for the 2.4 one in /opt - but that is good, i like to use 2.4 features

unfortunately it seems that the manager reporter thing i started needs also 
twisted.words which is nowadays a separate package (i did not know that, as 
was having an older version preincluded on this workstation), 
ImportError: You need to have the Twisted Words package installed to use 
twisted.protocols.irc. See http://twistedmatrix.com/projects/words.

if that is easy to add would be nice, but still not necessary.
