[Bsod-mentors] Where are we now?

Hi all,
It's now some time since the finish of the BSoD 2006 projects. I like the
rest of the contributors have been glued to this forum and the other
feedback sources eagerly awaiting its conclusion. However, the silence over
the last few weeks has been somewhat worrying. Tim's email recently,
reference 80% success was encouraging. But what happens now?

I have recently had the opportunity to start reading the other contributions
apart from my own and I have to say I am impressed. I really like Mal's
introduction to the game engine, primarily because I knew little about the
subject. I'm also avidly reading Robert's Introduction to Rigging to gain
better understanding of these features. I am also reading Stephen's
Introduction to Python Scripting to see if I can kick-start some abandoned
development from 10 years ago. It's working for me Stephen. I will
undoubtedly read all the submissions over the coming weeks.

I think my only doubts about the projects are in the style and formatting,
which are different from each contributor. I suspect that reflects the
experience of the BlenderWiki editor as much as anything. If the docs are
going to be put into any chronological order I think some re-editing of
structure will be necessary. I'm hoping that is what the behind door
conversations may have been that may be delaying the projects finish.

Anyway, just wanted to raise the flag and say I'm still here.

P.S. Also wanted to be the first entry in this forum for September ;)
