Especially because I'm writing at this very moment the same thing in C++ :-)
I test all opportunities now and then I'll report my success here: loading
the library file, exporting thingmesh with your script and - if for some
reason I'm still in need of something more specific - finishing the C++
tool. - unfortunately, I'm not much of a perl professional, that's because
I do all in C++.
