just to clarify: Andrew, officially you are still the owner of that page (see http://www.blender.org/about/website/section-owners/). If you are not available to maintain such page anymore please let me know.

As far as I was aware, this page isn't managed by me anymore. I was told CGCookie was going to some videos for each feature, and Francesco (I think?) said to just leave it with them for the time being.

Anyway, I don't think anyone has exclusive rights to the page. Feel free to edit it as you wish.

No need to overdo it - one screenshot and a list of features of the VSE
is enough, check out how the other features are presented:
