Yes, I love this idea. There are amazing stories out there of people using Blender, such as the inventor of the $100 3D Printer, who used Blender to translate 3D data into sound data for his 3D Printer Design:

I'm happy to help get more stories if you need someone else.

Subject: [Bf-webcontent] New series: "User Stories"

Hi web team,

http://www.blender.org/features/

As part of the Features section, I've added a category to collect user stories on our website. The purpose of these stories is especially:

- show professionals (part of their day job)
- have people say something about their work
- showcase the diversity of our user community

Good 'User Stories' could come from scientists (Bioblender), architects (plenty!), vfx (like the recent test from R&H artists), animation filmers, commercials (cola), etc.

Purpose is not to have ego boosters or strive for any completeness here. It's only to answer the question "Who is using Blender". Quality first!

I would like to coordinate a small team of editors who will collect stories regularly... first to help to add some from the past (half a dozen?) and then to regularly add new ones (on or two per month?).

We then could also add this in the frontpage caroussel.

I know Sebastian Koenig likes to help, 2 or 3 others would be welcome!

The collumn layout of the page could use some decision still.

(BTW: I removed the Headers page there, it was not good looking.)
