About the image header problem that aligned right and did not a break:

.maincont {
	position: relative;
	width: 720px;
	height: 100%;
	vertical-align: top;
}

My .maincont definition:
.maincont { width: 720px; height: 100%; background-color: #fff; }

The problem is "vertical-align: top;" that is not needed too.
