    hi,

thanks for your looooooooooooong list bart. i think we could need some new maintainers?!? did you get my last email or did you ignore it ;-) ? i have converted the release logs of blender 2.30 to typo3! you can publish it if you want. i have also some proposals and questions:

Oh my! I'm so sorry for being such a schmuck. It looks great - I've put it in the releaselogs section and published it.

I did notice a nice new tutorial about the knife tool in there. @Ingie/compman: one for you?

    - what means "update the yafray page"? what should be added or changed?

Not sure, It's just so ugly and empty now. There's not a lot of information there, is there? Like what is yafray? what can it do? a few nice example images maybe.. Installation instructions (do we need that?)

    - what means "write proposal for new news system"? do you want to add news to the current page? i thought this would be something for the next new page.

Ah! This is actually a point where Ton, Matt (broken) and I are working on at the moment. We reinforced this plan last week by dinner in an Indian restaurant and a few too many beers, so I'm quite confident we'll have something to present (at least a plan) soon!

    - some menu entries are missing in the pulldown menu (is this wanted?)

Matt and I are considering to remove the current fancy pulldown menu and replace it by something that can be automatically generated by Typo3. It should then automaticall reflect the content of the site much better.

    - how do you feel about a screenshots section?

Good idea. We could do even better than that though: one of the ideas that popped up during the Indian dinner is to offer more videos that show how Blender works (not videotutorials, but a few minutes showing someone working on some model).

    - we should tell the user the system requirements for using blender on his OS somewhere, shouldn't we?

That makes a lot of sense. We could add such a page in the download section, link to it from the downloads page and list the requirements for each platform. Are you volunteering? :-)

      Hi all,
I have a little todo list for blender3d.org on my desktop and I thought I'd share it. On it, I put things such as the tutorials that I sometimes have to take offline (it would be nice to put them back after a while ;-), or ideas that I have for the site. If you see anything that you like or something that can be added to the list, just post a message here.
      Cheers,
      Bart
