One thing that I found for intel card is that you need enable the
Tripple buffer option (also page flip).. some people say that work..
and other not.. I can't test here because PageFlip need drm >= 1.9,
the options:

Section "Device"

Option "PageFlip" "true"
Option "TripleBuffer" "true"

BTW, here only the Tripple buffer is slow (and even slow it's work and
let me change the options from the Outliner), the other two work fine
or as always blender work on this machine, I attach my glxinfo and
lspci output, but as far I can see, seem like a driver problem.

OS: Ubuntu 7.10
Driver: ubuntu default, xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.1.1-0ubuntu9 (gutsy)
