[Bf-taskforce25] Text styles and UI preferences

Hi all,

I've been playing around with the text styles in 2.5. These are really  
nice and you can do some neat things with font size and shadows.  
However, the styles are currently disconnected from the UI  
preferences, meaning the style settings affect *everything*, making it  
impossible to adjust the shadow of only one UI element.

For example, putting a slight dark shadow behind the menu header item  
looks really crisp, but looks terrible when applied everywhere.

Is this a temporary solution? It's be awesome if you could adjust  
shadow settings per UI element, instead of the current global  
settings, more like the current shade, outline and text color settings.
