Not really, this is assuming that all location keys are set nearby to
0,0,0. While this may be the case for some kinds of character
animation that's acting on the spot, for many other kinds of animation
this just isn't the case. As soon as your objects are a relatively
small distance away from 0,0,0 (which can happen often depending on
scene scale choices), you have to pan and zoom and hit 'home' every
time you click on a new curve anyway. And this isn't even regarding
other types of animation (dof distance, camera lens? try animating
these alongside camera motion :) where the curves are all over the
place anyway.

I think better would be to try some other things likeeither decoupling
curves from one consistent zoom, or maybe some kind of auto-fitting
option.. Any ideas?
