[Bf-python] View data?

If I have a Python script as a controller in the Game Logic for an object, is there any way for that script to get data of, say, what a camera was viewing?  

I'm rather newbish to this Blender thing--it's kinda confusing too.  Sorry if my question doesn't make any sense.
